What is Human History?
Human history, also called world history, is the narrative of humanity's past. It is understood and studied through anthropology, archaeology, genetics, and linguistics. Since the invention of writing, human history has been studied through primary and secondary source documents.
The Empire that Once Was
There once stood an empire that was so great it dominated the early world. The Roman Empire, at its peak, covered the entire modern Europe, and all across the Mediterranean Sea, something that not even the British Empire nor even the Mongols could do (conquering Europe, that is). To this day, Roman Empire remains to be one of the most influential historic empires in the world.
The Pain that All Book Lovers Share
In 48 BCE, the Library of Alexandria, which supposedly stored countless amounts of ancient knowledge and records, was burned down to the ground during the time when Caesar was chasing Pompey into Egypt. This was especially painful for many historians as the Library of Alexandria was said to contain many important records of the ancient world. Some even go as far to say that the burning down of the library costed a margin of our history.
The Dragon of the East Whom Have Stood for Many Millenia
Perhaps the most resilient empire in history is the Chinese Empire, having stood for 4,000 years. Despite how any of its neighbors have risen and fallen, the Chinese Empire have remained strong and united.
